Course Accessibility

Document Accessibility

When posting digital documents and files on publicly facing websites, it is important that these documents are fully accessible at the same level required for websites, therefore using HTML to post all content is highly recommended. If a downloadable file is necessary, it is the responsibility of the content creator to ensure these files are fully accessible. The same applies for documents/PDFs/graphics being sent via email. Below are some resources that can help:

Elon Community Accessibility Team

In Spring 2020, President Book approved the creation of the Elon Community Accessibility Team (ECAT), establishing a strategic partnership between ÀÏ°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø and the Town of Elon in their endeavor to advance policies and practices that lead to greater access, equity and treatment for a truer shared community.
